The aims and objectives of the Commonwealth Academy of Leadership & Management shall be as follows:
1. The COMMONWEALTH ACADEMY OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT shall be a professional charitable non-profit organisation dedicated to assisting leaders and managers to achieve excellence and best practices through research, education, publications and the granting of credentials and awards to indicate level of achievement.
2 To teach the rudiments of leadership and management as they affect us today.
3. To promote networking among members.
4. To issue certificates and diplomas to members to indicate grades of membership and competence.
5. To highlight the need for, value and importance of good leadership and management skills as basic elements of the society in which we live.
6. To educate members so as to improve their leadership and management skills through specialised training and career development programmes.
7. To identify best practices in leadership and management and to amplify them with a view of encouraging the benchmarking of these standards.
8. To award certificates and diplomas in recognition of excellence in performance in the spheres of leadership and management in society.
9. To give out information and knowledge through publication of journals and newsletters.
10. To encourage and promote research.
11. To promote good leadership & business ethics and social responsibility in the industry.
12. To undertake and pursue all such other similar, related or compatible objectives as may from time to time be considered appropriate by the Academy.
13. To collaborate with, or enter into partnership with Governmental organisations and non Governmental organisations to work on or promote programmes and projects that are compatible with the goals of the Commonwealth Academy of Leadership and Management
